OpenFPGA Steering Group Call-in Summary

Participating: OSC, HPTi, U of Toledo, U of Manchester

Additional input from the SC05 BOF was discussed.

• 200 plus attendees
• Need to focus on benchmarks
• T-shirts were distributed and well received
• Slides and notes will be posted to the OpenFPGA website

Working group updates

• Need leads for each working group
• Also need mailing lists for working groups
• Need to encourage participation

Organizational updates

• Timing is right to get stated on bylaws, board, etc.
• Draft bylaws be modeled after similar organizations
• Discussed addition of new members to steering group

General

• Considering tagline for OpenFPGA
• Post upcoming events to the website
• There is some need for a product announcement website or link
